Not only did BTS hit the stage at the 2020 Billboard Music Awards with an epic performance, they were nominated for several awards throughout the night. BTS took home the award for Top Social Artist and ARMYs couldn’t have been more proud. Fans were convinced they BTS boys would pick up the trophy for Top Group as well, but when the award was ultimately given to the Jonas Brothers, they were totally thrown off. These 20 tweets about BTS’ 2020 BBMAs Top Group snub explain ARMYs’ confusion perfectly.
It’s no secret that BTS picks up nearly every fan-voted award they’re voted for thanks to their dedicated fanbase, but the BBMAs rely on a number of different factors.
