Laura Hamilton has finally returned to work following the coronavirus pandemic. The 38-year-old presenter is currently in Greece filming new episodes of the Channel 4 property show, after her six-week work trip to Spain was cut short.
Laura took to the picture-sharing site and revealed to fans an encounter she had ahead of shooting for the new series.
The Channel 4 favourite explained she had a surprise when she was approached by a British family who are fans of the holiday property show.
But it was the family trio’s daughter who had gotten a bit tearful after meeting Laura.
Taking to Instagram stories, Laura told her 88,000 followers: “Good morning. So, what are the chances of this?
“Second day of filming here in Cassandra in Greece.”
The presenter panned the camera across to the family she met and mused: “Oh, they’re making a run for it now but these lovely people just here, they’re from Croydon back home in England.”
They gave a small wave at a short distance, as Laura continued: “Yes, not too far from home.
“You come all the way to Greece and you bump into people that live close to you in the UK.”
The mum-of-two added: “It was really sweet actually, to see the daughter, as she got all emotional when she saw the film crew.
“She loves A Place In The Sun. So we had a quick photo, socially-distant of course. And we are getting ready to start filming guys aren’t we?” the Channel 4 presenter said as she approached the camera team.
Meanwhile, the TV star shared a stunning snap of herself while on location for the programme.
Laura looked incredibly chic in an off-the-shoulder polka dot dress which clung to her curves.

Her blonde tresses hung loosely on her shoulders, as she beamed away from the camera lens.
Laura captioned the post: “Day Two… on the Dot! @aplaceinthesunofficial #bardot #dress #polkadots.”
Fans rushed to the comment section as they gushed over the presenter’s dress.
“Wow! You look amazing,” one person said, as another social media user added: “Stunning photo Laura.”
A third person remarked: “Just about to watch you. You’ve become our family’s favourite person on television over the past few months. Keep being you @laurahamiltontv.”
Mum-of-two Laura and her family are staying in Greece, while the presenter gets to work with helping people find their dream properties in the sunshine.
Sharing a bit more information, she said: “This week’s house search in and around Kassandra, Greece has begun… and this is the face of someone who is happy to be back helping make people’s dreams come true @aplaceinthesunofficial.”
Laura was originally meant to be filming in Spain but had to fly to Greece after the country was added to the non-essential travel list.
A Place In The Sun airs weekdays on Channel 4 at 3pm.
