Amanda Holden throws support behind Piers Morgan as fans spot ITV star link

Piers Morgan has shared a photo with his 1.8 million Instagram followers of a star-studded dinner party at his friend Amanda Holden's home.

Along with Piers, Amanda had invited household names Eamonn Holmes, Ruth Langsford and Alan Carr.

Amanda's dinner party comes shortly after a clip was released of her giving her thoughts on Piers' upcoming new show – his first gig after leaving ITV last year.

The ITV starlet appears to have thrown her support behind the star as she invited her closest pals to the table – but many fans couldn't help but notice a lot of them had something in common.

Viewers were quick to spot that multiple stars at the table have had a feud with ITV favourite Phillip Schofield.

The group enjoyed a stunning meal at Heart Breakfast presenter Amanda’s home, with food made by Michelin-trained chef Euan Peach.

Piers cheekily captioned the pic: "Britain’s Got Egos. Very funny dinner last night at my lovely friend @noholdenback's beautiful home, with delicious food cooked @bymrpeach. Pic’s a bit murky but you can play spot the shy shrinking violet…

Ruth made an official complaint about Phil in April 2019 after he interrupted her while she was presenting a preview of Loose Women during an episode of This Morning.

Eamonn – who has since left ITV – recently spoke out against Philip, telling The Daily Mail's Weekend magazine: "Phillip is renowned for snubbing people."

"He's very passive-aggressive. It's up to Ruth to say how she felt, but I was feeling hurt for her. No one would have snubbed me like that."

Amanda’s issues with Phil started after she believed he had her axed from This Morning and banned her from filling in for Holly Willoughby during her stint hosting I’m A Celeb in 2018.

She later revealed she had messaged Phil to resolve any animosity but had not heard back.
