Blake Lively Makes Directorial Debut With Taylor Swift’s ‘I Bet You Think About Me’

The former ‘Gossip Girl’ actress sits behind the lens for the first time for her best friend’s new music video which is scheduled to make its way out very soon.

The “Love Story” singer has announced the new promo will drop on Monday (15Nov21) – three days after Taylor launched her latest video for “All Too Well”, which she directed.

“SURPRISE! NEW MUSIC VIDEO TOMORROW at 10am ET,” Taylor captioned a short teaser of the video, which features a hand ripping through a wedding cake, on Sunday.

“I finally got to work with the brilliant, brave, & wickedly funny @blakelively on her directorial debut. Join us as we raise a toast, and a little hell.”

Blake and her husband Ryan Reynolds were among the stars who joined Taylor at the “Saturday Night Live” after party following her 10-minute performance of “All Too Well” on the show.

Swift’s ex, Joe Jonas, and his wife Sophie Turner, Cara Delevingne, and Anya Taylor-Joy were also guests at the party at L’Avenue in New York City on Saturday, as was Sadie Sink, who stars in Swift’s new “All Too Well” video.

Both “I Bet You Think About Me” and “All Too Well” are featured in “Red (Taylor’s Version)”.

Upon its release, the album shattered first-day Spotify streaming records by amassing over 90 million times in the first 24 hours. It broke her previous record when her 2020 lockdown album, “Folklore”, was streamed 80.6 million times in its first day.

The feat additionally helped the “You Need to Calm Down” hitmaker to become Spotify’s most-streamed female in a day with more than 122.9 million streams.
