Coronation Street bosses cast Emmerdale hunk as new villain for Imran Habeeb

CORONATION Street bosses have signed up hunky actor Jon-Paul Bell for a dastardly new role.

The former Emmerdale actor will play new villain Ben Chancellor who is summoned by Imran Habeeb to the cobbles.

Ben is a dodgy paralegal who has no qualms about manufacturing evidence to help his clients get the results they want.

In Friday night’s episode of the soap, viewers watched Imran call Ben for help in his custody battle against Abi Franklin.

He wants Ben to find proof that Abi is using drugs again so he can win custody of baby Alfie for him and soon to be wife Toyah Battersby.

The actor made an appearance in Emmerdale in 2020 as a best man needing wedding advice from Gabby Thomas.

He will play a new character called Jordan who becomes embroiled in the lives of several villagers.
