Coronation Street’s Audrey (played by Sue Nicholls) has no idea that her son Stephen (Todd Boyce) is planning on running away with all her money. Over the last couple of months, Stephen has been plotting to run away and leave his family behind with nothing. However, official spoilers reveal that his world and plans begin to spiral out of control and could end up losing more than just money.

In upcoming scenes, Stephen’s thrilled when he receives an email inviting him to an interview regarding some consultancy work.

Intrigued by the job and constantly looking for more money, Stephen attends an interview with Drake via video call, but it doesn’t go well.

Struggling to find a job, Stephen takes a call from the agency and explains they are offering him a job as a fast food delivery driver.

In desperation, he accepts it, however, comes face to face with Drake at the trendy ad agency as his first job.

Realising who he was, Drake found it highly amusing that Stephen has been forced to take such a lowly job.

Humiliated and embarrassed by the interaction, Stephen calls the fast food delivery company and quits, telling them to shove their job.

Later, Stephen tells Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) that sending Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) on a cruise with Audrey might not be a good idea, claiming she is drinking again.

However, Nick insists that the holiday must and will go ahead and leaves Stephen stuck as to what his next move will be.

Looking like a caring son, Stephen calls at the salon but ends up stealing Audrey’s antidepressants from her bag.

With a plan in mind, Stephen invites Nick to join him and Audrey in the Rovers to talk about the cruise.

With the antidepressants in his possession, he crushes them into a powder with the intent of spiking her drink.

As she gets up to go to the toilet, will he go through with it?

Meanwhile, Stephen takes a call from his wife Gabrielle Reid (Helene Maksoud) revealing that she’s cancelled his car contract.

As the walls are closing in on Stephen, Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) asks for a lift into the factory for a meeting.

Will it force him to put Audrey in danger?

A desperate Stephen calls Six Fellas, the fast food company, and begs them to give him his job back.

Making out to Gail Platt (Helen Worth) that the call is about a business meeting, he hurries off, unaware he’s dropped his phone.

In Bolton, the boss begrudgingly gives Stephen his job back but he’s accosted by teenagers who steal his delivery box, work phone and demand money.

As Stephen spots Elaine Jones (Paula Wilcox) approaching he attempts to race away on his moped but in his haste loses control and goes sprawling across the road.

Will he be taken to hospital, with his plans spiralling further out of control?

Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9pm on ITV.
