'Cruella' is coming to Disney+: What to know and how to stream

We’re just days away from the premiere of “Cruella” on Disney+!

The highly anticipated live action feature film hits theaters and Disney+ simultaneously with Premier Access for a one-time additional fee on Friday, May 28.

The Craig Gillespie-directed film tells the story of a young woman living in London in the ’70s, Estella (Emma Stone), and how she comes to be one of Disney’s most well-known villains, Cruella de Vil.

In the film’s synopsis, Estella is described as “a clever and creative” aspiring fashion designer who makes friends with some young thieves with whom she takes over the street of London.

“One day, Estella’s flair for fashion catches the eye of the Baroness von Hellman, a fashion legend who is devastatingly chic and terrifyingly haute,” the synopsis reads. “But their relationship sets in motion a course of events and revelations that will cause Estella to embrace her wicked side and become the raucous, fashionable and revenge-bent Cruella.”

The Baroness is played by award-winning British actress Emma Thompson.
