Dancing On Ice’s Hayley Tamaddon hoping for better year after a ‘s*****’ 2021

Dancing On Ice's Hayley Tamaddon has admitted she is hoping for a better year after a "pretty s****y" 2021.

The former Emmerdale and Corrie star, 44, told her fans on Instagram that she hasn't had the best 12 months and is hoping things pick up a bit.

Sharing a sweet snap of her and her little boy Jasper, the actress wrote: "Here's to a better 2022 that (sic) 2021. Mine's been pretty s***** to be honest.

"Whatever you've gone through… or still going through… today is just a day and tomorrow is a new one."

"Sending love and positive thoughts only to all of you," she added.

Hayley didn't elaborate, but plenty of fans posted messages saying they hoped her 2022 would prove to be a good one.

"Happy new year to you, let's hope 2022 is better for all of us," one person wrote in the comments section.

"Sending positivity your way my love – here's to 2022," said another.

One said: "Happy new year hope 2022 is better for you then 2021."

"I think so many of us feel the same," posted another.

"Hopefully it will be the start of a much brighter year ahead. Sending big hugs."

"Here's to a new start!" said another.

Hayley found fame as Del Dingle on Emmerdale and played Andrea Beckett on the cobbles from 2013 to 2015, and she won Dancing On Ice in 2010.

The actress revealed in 2019 that she was expecting her first child with her partner Adrian, at the age of 42.

Announcing her pregnancy, she said she had always wanted to be a mum but hadn't thought that she could have children.

"I really have to pinch myself sometimes that this is happening… I'm actually pregnant!" she wrote on Instagram. "Eeeeeek!"

Son Jasper was born in October 2019.
