Danielle Lloyd gives birth to baby girl and shares first picture of newborn: Were over the moon

After years of longing for a daughter, Danielle Lloyd welcomed her baby girl with husband Michael O'Neil last Friday, OK! can exclusively announce.

The 37 year old, who is also a mum to four sons, has shared the first adorable picture of the newborn.

In the cute black and white snap, you can see Danielle's daughter's hand clutching hers.

And after the baby's arrival, the elated mum of five told us: "Friday we welcomed our beautiful baby girl to complete our family.

"We are all over the moon and both mummy & baby are doing well."

The former model is mum to four boys, Archie, 11, Harry, 10, and George, eight, with her ex-husband Jamie O'Hara, and she shares four year old Ronnie with her hubby Michael.

Danielle made no secret of the fact she wanted a little girl and even considered gender selection, before conceiving a daughter naturally.

Announcing her pregnancy earlier this year, Danielle revealed she conceived a daughter after following guidelines set out in the Babydust Method book.

The star also spoke recently in her OK! column about fears she may be forced to have a C-section after being in "agony" with back pain during the final weeks of her pregnancy.

"It makes me feel nervous because I don’t want to be induced or have a caesarean," she wrote.

"So, I’m praying that the physio will help relieve the pain and it will get better, but we will have to wait and see."

Danielle has also been contemplating the name of her long-awaited daughter and recently said Rose is still a contender, despite the fact she was left "gutted" when Stacey Solomon chose the moniker for her daughter.

"Michael wants Rose involved in the name somewhere, but we don’t know," she told us.

"We’ve got a shortlist of names and we’ll decide once we see her. When I looked at Ronnie, I just knew he was a Ronnie."
