Neville Parker (played by Ralf Little) settled into Death in Paradise earlier this year after struggling to adapt to island life during his first season as lead detective. However, the BBC actor may be set to follow in the footsteps of Dwayne Myers star Danny John-Jules and sign up to Strictly Come Dancing.
Strictly will return to BBC One later this year and rumours are rife over which celebrities will join the line-up.
However, bookmakers Ladbrokes have tipped Death in Paradise’s Ralf as one of the names that’ll be revealed in due course.
Ladbrokes have slashed the odds of the actor taking part to just 4/1.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “While Strictly chiefs would no doubt love to sign up a member of the royal family, it looks as though the Royle Family will have to do for now, with Ralf Little just 4/1 to make an appearance on the next series.”

Earlier this year, the Death in Paradise actor has spoken out on signing up for reality TV shows.
“I’ve been asked to do all of them every year,” Ralf began.
“That’s normal. I mean everyone gets offered, everyone gets approached to find out if they would be interested. That’s it.
“And that’s more common than you think because they’re always looking for new people who haven’t done it. So to be asked is not that unusual.”
“Again, never say never! I think that it’s very easy to be dismissive of things,” he revealed.
“I think, people who participate in Strictly and do well in Strictly, they’re learning a real skill, an art form, and there’s something really rewarding about that,” he told Hello! Magazine.
However, Ralf isn’t the only Death in Paradise star that’s been linked to the competition.
Josephine Jobert, who stars as Florence Cassell, hinted she could have her eyes set on the dance floor.

In a recent Instagram Q&A, Josephine and Marlon Pryce star Tahj Miles were asked if they’d consider the show.
“Yes, why not,” Tahj replied and Josephine added: “Yeah me too, we should do it together, we’d win it together!”
Former Death in Paradise actor Danny took part in the 2018 series of Strictly.
He was partnered with Amy Dowden and the pair were eliminated in week eight.
As Strictly season gets closer, a host of famous faces have been linked to the BBC competition.
Star of Netflix’s Selling Sunset, Christine Quinn is rumoured to be in talks with producers.
She alerted fans to a possible appearance after teasing she is heading to the UK for a “big surprise” in September.
Strictly usually announces its line-up in August before launching the show at the end of the month.
The first episode of the series, where fans find out which professionals the celebrities are partnered with, usually airs in September.
Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One later this year. Death in Paradise is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
