The Weakest Link fans were left in stitches after Dominic Wood fumed at his double act partner Richard McCourt voted him off the show.

The pair, otherwise known as Dick and Dom, worked separately for the first time in 25 years when they appeared on the celebrity edition of the BBC One quiz show in order to raise money for their chosen charity.

Dom appeared to struggle in the third round of quick-fire questions and as such was voted out by many of his fellow contestants.

But one person he was relying on was his comedy duo Dick, who shocked everyone when he voted his partner off the show with no remorse.

As Romesh Ranganathan went around to each contestant asking who they would like to vote off, Dick calmly shrugged his shoulders and said Dom.

And it was clear the pair had an arrangement not to vote each other off the show before they started filming as Dom turned around in shock to see his “best friend” betray him on national television.

Dom asked: “Wait, What? Are you having a laugh? 25 years? What did we say before we came here?

Dick argued: “This is what happens when you split us up and we have to compete against each other.”

Before Dick could excuse his poor behaviour anymore, Dom asked: “Can I clear my screen and write it again please? Ant and Dec would never do this to each other.:

When he was pushed for an answer, Dick teased: “Go on, say your name” before Dom joked: “Dick” before he corrected it to his real answer which was Michelle.

The entire room couldn’t help but giggle along to the pair’s hilarious banter and it appears their back-and-forth left viewers at home in stitches as they swarmed to Twitter to laugh about the hilarious moment online.

One user penned: “Dick and Dom turning on each other is pure content …. #theweakestlink.”

Another agreed: “The Dick and Dom battle on #TheWeakestLink was so funny” with three cry laughing emojis.

While another recalled: “Memories of shouting BOGIES in tesco because I watched dick and dom in da bungalow.”
