Dr Emily Andrea calls daughter a mini me as she shares rare picture

Dr Emily Andrea took to Instagram to share a rare photo of her daughter Millie, seven.

The cute picture shows Millie’s long hair neatly braided with the caption: “Love playing with Millies hair she is a bit of a mini me! The hair at least!”

In the snap, the little girl is wearing a pink top with an avocado print and her long brown hair is in a neat fishtail braid.

Peter Andre's wife Emily, 32, added a ‘My Mini’ graphic to the snap.

Emily and Peter, 48, who married in 2015 in Devon, also have a son, Theo, aged five.

Dr Emily gave birth to Millie in 2014 and has talked about how hard it was having a baby when she was just 24-years-old and training to be a doctor.

Speaking in her OK! column, Emily spoke out when Stacey Solomon said she felt ‘ashamed’ at having a child at 17.

Emily said: “Unfortunately, I think the stigma around being a young mum can still exist, but it’s wrong and nobody should judge you for the age you decide to have children. We need to support young mums.”

As a doctor Emily has worked on the frontline during the Covid-19 pandemic. Speaking to The Mirror, Emily has opened up about the experience, saying: "Part of me thinks it is what I trained for, it's my job to look after people and care for them when they are sick but having said that, it has been quite extraordinary circumstances and there has been a lot of additional challenges to cope with in the NHS.

"That has been challenging at times but just being able to come home and spend time with the kids during my downtime and just try to leave work at work and not feel too stressed out at home.”

She has also spoken openly about being step-mum to husband Peter’s two children, Junior and Princess, from his marriage to Katie Price.

Speaking to OK!, Emily said: “I think with both of them, there’s always things you feel awkward to speak to your parents about. It could be anything. We have a slightly different relationship, maybe that’s why they will ask me questions about certain things.

“Also, with the job I do, I’ve always said to them that nothing is embarrassing to me. I think that’s always meant that they haven’t felt embarrassed to say stuff to me if they have to.

“They’re both really communicative teenagers.”
