EastEnders’ Phil Mitchell (played by Steve McFadden) has had a rough time lately as Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) continues to look into the death of her husband Vincent Hubbard (Richard Blackwood). Phil revealed that he had been killed by the hitmen of Aidan Maguire (Patrick Bergin) after getting involved with his gang. However, Phil is fearing for his son, Raymond Mitchell’s (Michael Jose Pomares Clixte) life and threatens to take him away from Denise Fox (Diane Parish). Will she let her son go once again, or will she fight back against Phil’s pressure on the BBC soap?

After walking in on Denise and Kim talking with one another, Phil interrupts and tells Denis he needs to have a word with her.

Already having a bitter opinion towards Phil, Kim snapped back: “What? You help us get this place back and then all of a sudden you think your Vidal Sassoon?”

Backing her sister, Denise replied: “Yeah, it’s not a great time, Phil,” but Kim decided to leave the hair salon, telling her sister she would see her later.

“What are you doing here Phil?” she continued, to which Phil replied: “I’ve come for an update on Kim.”

Frustrated by his question, she answered: “Yeah, well, she’s going to the police with Harry later,” leaving Phil confused and asked what it meant.

Getting progressively annoyed with Phil’s questions, Denise snapped: “I’ve told you I will handle this you’ve just got to give me time.”

However, Phil had other plans he needed to tell Denise: “Well, we ain’t got time, have we? Not when the people who killed Vincent find out what she’s doing, now I’m not having Raymond put in danger.

“Either stop her, or I’m taking him out of here,” he exclaimed, leaving Denise in shock: “Taking him where?”

“Spain, anywhere, anywhere away from here,” Phil told her as he infuriated Denise even further.

“What? You think you can just turn up here and tell me you’re taking my son to Spain, and I’ll be okay with that? No, you’re not taking him anywhere,” she yelled.

Calmly, Phil replied: “Listen, I ain’t asking you, I’m telling you alright. If you don’t stop her, I’m picking him up tonight.”

Later, Denise’s daughter Chelsea Fox (Zaraah Abrahams) finally decided to tell her she’s pregnant before running off to the bathroom to be sick.

Fiancé Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) turned to Denise and said: “This is ridiculous, you need to tell Phil that he’s not taking Raymond, or I will if you want me to.”

Confused by everything that was happening, she replied: “I don’t know, I don’t know, maybe Raymond is safer with Phil, I couldn’t live with myself if something actually was to happen to him.”

Calming her down, Jack insisted: “Listen, you just focus on Chelsea yeah, leave handling Phil with me.”

Whilst celebrating Stacy Slater’s (Lacey Turner) return home from prison, Phil told Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) about his plans to leave Walford for a bit.

Shocked at his revelation, Kat understood why he had to leave, but not before telling him she will go along too with her boys.

“The boys are well overdue for a holiday, and just you wait till you see me bikini collection,” she joked before returning to the party.

Phil soon received a call from Jack and said: “Jack, listen if you’re calling me to talk about Raymond, you’re wasting your time, Raymond is not safe while Kim is shouting her mouth off to your lot, I’m listening.”

Will Denise let Phil take Raymond away, or will she fight against him for her son?

Could Jack secretly be planning something behind her back after a suspicious phone call with Phil?
