Emmerdale spoilers hint at Charity murder as she’s left to die in brutal attack

Emmerdale fans are set for some tense scenes next week as much-loved Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) is left for dead in a horror attack.

The fan-favourite character has been drifting from bad situation to bad situation in the past few months – and that doesn't look set to change any time soon.

New Emmerdale spoilers reveal that she could meet her end when an intruder attacks her.

As the story starts out, Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) is unimpressed when the power at the Woolpack cuts out.

But she's unaware something sinister is at play, as someone has deliberately cut the external mains cable.

Chas and Marlon (Mark Charnock) have no choice but to close up shop for the day.

Meanwhile, a hooded figure breaks into the pub and manages to get into the till with a crowbar, pocketing the money they find.

Charity soon catches the intruder but she's knocked over when the intruders makes their escape.

The unfortunate character is left knocked out in a pool of blood.

Out on Main Street, Chas is left reeling as a semi-conscious Charity is taken to hospital in the back of an ambulance.

While there, Chas is left distraught when she reveals to Paddy (Dominic Brunt) that Charity has a bleed on the brain.

She breaks down and hopes that Charity can pull through.

The next day, PC Swirling arrives to investigate the robbery – but it's not long until his suspicious start creeping in.

Who could the masked intruder be?

And could it have anything to do with Chas's business worries?

This week, she's left fretting when Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano) has an accident and demands some compensation.

But an unexpected – and unwanted – lifeline soon comes in to save the day.

What could Chas be about to get herself into?
