Ex-Primark employee shares insider knowledge on unknown order service offered to customers in store

It’s safe to say we’ve all missed our beloved bargain high street store Primark over the past few months and we’re absolutely thrilled to have it back.

Here at OK! we can’t wait to restock our white trainer stocks, black tights and £1 pants and we're sure you’re all doing exactly the same.

Unlike most other fashion brands, you can’t shop for Primark clothing on a website, so we all heavily rely on shopping solely in store. However, one ex-Primark employee has revealed that there is in fact a way you can order your preferred size in store if they have sold out. Intrigued?

Former Primark employee Rebecca Ward, 27, worked in the flagship store, Leeds Trinity, for three years and shared some top secrets on the store, one being how to order Primark products in store.

We all know the feeling of finding a beautiful piece in store available in every size but your own – the worst! However, Rebecca has revealed that managers can order specific pieces in for you when they’re replenishing stock.

She explained: "Say you were looking for size 14 leggings and they didn’t have any, you can ask the manager to put it on their next order – the cut-off is 2pm each day."

"The delivery will arrive the following evening for you to collect the next morning."

There’s no obligation to even buy the item, so no need to worry about trying it on and changing your mind.

She added: "If you decide you don’t want it, we’ll just put it back on the shop floor and it’ll probably sell anyway." And if your item is available in larger flagship stores but not yours, employees can order the items in from other stores too.

She continued to say: "You can ring the store yourself but it’s easier to go into your nearest store and ask. They usually want to do it because we then get the sale."
