Fashion designed Nikkie Plessen will also take the reigns as a permanent judge on the new series – and will be joined by a host of famous faces who will help her on the judging panel.

Next to the recently announced Drag Race Holland presenter Fred van Leer, Nikkie will judge the runway queens each week as they compete for the title of the Netherlands’ first Drag Race Superstar.

Other big names that will appear as a guest judge include, comedian Sanne Wallis de Vries, singer Roxeanne Hazes and fashion designer Cleas Iversens.

The first episode is set to premiere this Thursday September 15, at 11pm in the UK on the WOW Presents Plus subscription streaming service.

Model Loiza Lamers, singer Ruth Jacott, actor Rick Paul van Mulligen, singer and presenter Ryanne van Dorst, pride ambassador Amber Vineyard, singer Edsillia Rombley and television presenter Carlo Boszhard will also make a guest appearance.

Speaking about why she is excited to take part in the show, newly appointed judge, Nikkie, began: ‘What appeals and inspires me the most in Drag is that it involves so much creativity and that it goes beyond just creating a beautiful outfit.

‘With my fashion background, it is amazing to be part of this. But girls you gotta do something for it… you’d better work that runway hunties!’

The Dutch queens competing for the coveted title include – Miss Abby OMG, Roem, ChelseaBoy, Janey Jacké, Ma’MaQueen, Madame Madness, Envy Peru, Sederginne, Patty Pam-Pam and Megan Schoonbrood.

Each week the Drag Queens will serve up what they have to offer in a variety of challenges and runway shows.

Based on their performance in the challenges and their creations on the runway, the judges will choose who wins.

Every week, the bottom two compete against each other in a legendary lip sync battle.

Besides the title, the winning queen will receive a crown from Fierce Drag Jewels, a specially made haute couture dress by Iversen with a value of €18.000, a cover shoot and a ten-page interview in the Dutch magazine Cosmopolitan Nederland.

In the first episode, Nikkie Plessen, Cleas Iversen and Sanne Wallis de Vries, will make their debut.
