Gemma Collins has quit The Only Way Is Essex for good.

The star, 40, declared she will never appear on the reality show again.

She told the Daily Star Sunday: "I love The Only Way Is Essex. I wish them all well, but no, I won't do it again, I've moved on."

"Honey, I've got Valentino dressing me now. Do they really need to see me back down Brentwood High Street?"

Gemma first appeared on the show in 2011 and soon became a hit with fans.

Since then she has appeared in more than 230 episodes and has become its biggest star.

The show helped her secure spots on high profile shows including Celebrity Big Brother, Dancing On Ice and I’m A Celebrity.

Gemma’s decision to walk away from the show is a blow to producers. The former car saleswoman is known for boosting ratings.

Gemma is now focusing on fresh projects including a show for rival TV network Channel 4.

It will be a documentary about self-harm, which is something she suffered bouts of years ago.

Towie bosses have revamped the show in a bid to bring it back to its former glory.

They staged a “bloodbath” and axed 10 stars last month.

It will return to screens for a new series next Sunday with a different look, and the remaining cast members will get more airtime than before.
