Holly Willoughby braves the rain in a coat to cook burgers on her £685 barbecue – The Sun
HOLLY Willoughby braved the rain today and went into the garden to test out her posh £685 barbecue.
The This Morning presenter, 39, smoked four beef burgers and a juicy fillet steak on the Big Green Egg minimax appliance.
She shared a smiley selfie with her black raincoat's hood pulled up and a pair of tongs in her hand.
Two plates of marinated chicken sat beside the barbecue waiting to be cooked.
Holly wrote: "Classic British BBQ for lunch today… not even the rain could dampen our spirits ☔️.
"Never cooked with a @biggreenegg before, loved it! Steak, sausages, burgers… super happy tummies all round!"
And in her Instagram story she shared a snap of her cat Bluebell sitting on a hamper packed with food that she'd been gifted from caterer Jimmy Garcia.
Her followers appreciated her dedication to the grill, with one writing: "Go on holly can't beat a good British BBQ in the rain keeping it real girl enjoy."
Another posted: "That bbq massive ha enjoy x."
Just days ago Holly said she's "riddled with guilt" about missing her children's early school drop-offs to present This Morning.
The star opened up in an emotional interview saying she has found juggling her career and being a mum a “challenge”.
She told Red: "Becoming a mum was the only thing I knew I definitely wanted when I was growing up, but the image I had never involved me being a working mum. That’s the biggest challenge.
“I’ve been riddled with guilt about getting that part wrong. You love them so much and you don’t want to mess them up.”
Holly said she hadn't been able to take her children to school thanks to her job on morning TV, saying: "I didn’t do the drop-off because I was working.
"I hate that I wasn’t there because those memories you can’t get back."
However, she added that she was lucky to be able to pick them up from school and be with them at weekends.
Holly also said the support of her TV producer husband Dan Baldwin, has been vital.
She and Dan, who got married in 2007, have three children – Chester, five, Belle, nine, and Harry, 11.
Last month, Holly quit comedy gameshow Celebrity Juice, where she is a captain, after 12 years so she could spend more time with her family.
And speaking during a This Morning phone-in last year, the star said she would be delighted if her kids never left home.
Holly said: "I never want my children to leave, that's a fact. If they want to stay with me forever then that's fine for me."
In April, she shared a rare picture of her daughter Belle as the pair made ice-cream cake for her ninth birthday.
She wrote: "Today’s project… making an ice cream cake for Belle’s birthday on Tuesday… Never done it before, will report back once we reveal it! 🍦 🧁 💓🌸👧🏼."
