I’m A Celeb chaos as plane with banner saying ‘Danny Miller to win’ flies over castle

I'm A Celeb production crew were sent into panic today as an unauthorised plane flew over the castle with a banner that read ‘Danny Miller to win’.

The prank raised concern within the castle walls as crew rushed to make sure none of the celebrities had seen the sign flying over Gwrych Castle in Wales.

As part of the show, celebrities are supposed to remain none the wiser about who the public might want to win the show, not to mention the fact that the prank breached the show’s strict security measures.

Thankfully, however, none of the campmates are thought to have seen the message.

A source told The Sun: "Nobody has any idea who was behind the prank, but fortunately the campmates were inside the castle and didn't see it.

"It's part of the show that they're cut off from the outside world and don't have any idea who is popular with viewers – it was a close call."

Despite Danny’s devoted Emmerdale fanbase, he’s not currently the favourite to win the series, with recent odds by Betfair putting the odds of him winning at 13/1.

That’s behind favourite David Ginola (9/4), as well as Simon Gregson (11/4), Frankie Bridge (7/2), Snoochie Shy (7/1) and Adam Woodyatt (8/1).

The reality series has had a difficult week after Storm Arwen meant three episodes of the show had to be cancelled across last Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

The show returned to the air on Tuesday with ITV recently confirmed it would not be making up the episodes it had to cancel due to the bad weather.

Wednesday night's episode saw Danny Miller and David Ginola get elected as camp leaders after a public vote, with Danny joking he had a ‘man crush’ on David as they took up their new roles.

Danny admitted to French hunk David: "This is a dream come true for me – you and me in the same bed. I could cry mate, honestly. I’m doing everything not to."

Speaking in the Telegraph, he confessed: "Sleeping next to the guy, I have 100% solidified my man crush on him."
