Inside Mick Jagger’s rock star life – From near death experience to net worth

He's still rocking at 77… but Sir Mick Jagger said this week he gave up penning his autobiography as he “didn’t enjoy” writing it.

The Rolling Stones star got £1million for a memoir, but returned it saying he found looking back at his life “inordinately dull”.

Yet his sex, drugs and rock ’n’ roll lifestyle has been anything but – as Daily Star reveals with these facts about him.

Publisher John Blake once revealed he’d got a 75,000-word manuscript written by Jagger. He claimed tales include the singer buying the Stargroves estate in Hampshire in the 1970s while high on LSD.

Sir Mick is also said to have had a near-death experience after jumping on a horse that went off “like a Ferrari” despite not having ridden one before.

Despite a recent heart problem, the Jumpin’ Jack Flash singer’s fitness is legendary, typically covering 12 miles during a show and working out with eight-mile runs and kickboxing sessions.

His stamina in the bedroom is also renowned. One biographer claimed the (I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction star had bedded 4,000 women.

He has had eight children with five different women. The youngest is Deveraux, with his current partner ballerina Melanie Hamrick, 34, who was born in 2016. Sir Mick is a great-grand-father, too.

Mick’s first serious girlfriend, the model Chrissie Shrimpton, claims to have taken an overdose of sleeping pills in the 1960s after the star cheated on her.

The singer Marianne Faithfull also overdosed on sleeping pills while on a trip with him to Australia – and they soon split.

His only legal marriage was to Nicaraguan actress Bianca Macías in 1971, which ended in divorce. Mick later managed to get his Bali wedding to model Jerry Hall annulled.

The singer has also been in relationships with Brazilian model Luciana Morad and fashion designer L’Wren Scott, who died by suicide in 2014. He’s also been linked to model Carla Bruni and actress Angelina Jolie.
