Jake Wood poses with rarely seen lookalike kids at theatre show in London

JAKE Wood posed with his rarely seen, lookalike kids at a theatre show in London.

The 49-year-old actor walked alongside his daughter Amber, 16, and Buster, 13, after leaving the Noel Coward Theatre on August 11.

Jake looked professional in a black two-piece suit, completing the look with a white shirt and black shoes.

Amber wore a black dress with brown boots, keeping away the chill with a black jacket and accessorising with a necklace.

Meanwhile, Buster opted for black trousers and a black Lacoste T-shirt alongside blue shoes.

The EastEnders star is starring alongside Tanya Franks and Charlie Brooks for his new stage show 2:22 – A Ghost Story in the West End.

The play – which stars singer Lily Allen in the leading role – centres on a couple who are convinced their new house is haunted.

After inviting two friends round, the four of them stay up to find out the truth.

Jake left Albert Square earlier this year, after first appearing as Max in the BBC soap in 2006.

Jake wrote: "After 15 years I will be leaving Eastenders at the end of this year.

"I have loved playing Max Branning who amongst other things in that time has had 4 marriages, 10 affairs, 4 children (2 dying from falling from the roof of The Queen Vic), been buried alive, watched unwanted DVDs at Xmas and perhaps most traumatising of all…shared a hot tub with Ian Beale.

"I have made some truly great friends whilst on the show and I’ll miss everyone there. I’m grateful they have left the door open for Max and I’m excited to see what new horizons are around the corner.

"Thank you to everyone who has sent me messages this week, I appreciate the love and support."

Previously, Jake told how he'll finish performing in 2:22 A Ghost Story just in time for I'm A Celebrity.

Good Morning Britain host Ben Shephard quizzed: "Will you be finished in time to go into the jungle if the call comes in?"

"Yes, I finish in mid-October," said Jake.

"I've made no secret of the fact I'd love to do the jungle. We were talking about it in the break, Kate [Garraway, who was a 2019 cast member]."

Ben then asked whether he'd be up for starring in the Australian or Welsh series after coronavirus forced ITV bosses to change the location.

"Either or – bring it on!," shouted Jake.
