Jamie Redknapp and Frida look loved up in unseen wedding snap shared by his mum

Jamie Redknapp ’s proud mum Sandra has shared a previously unseen snap of the moment her son and his new wife Frida Andersson tied the knot this week.

Taking to Instagram with the shot, the 75-year-old wished them well on their new life as a married couple.

The black and white pic showed the former pro footballer and heavily pregnant Frida staring lovingly into each other’s eyes in front of their beaming officiant.

Accompanying the romantic snap, Sandra’s caption read: "Thanking Frida and Jamie for lovely day and wishing them every happiness for the future".

Sandra’s new daughter-in-law was the first to hit the comments with: "Thank you so much for being there with us Sandra. It was a very special day".

Jamie and his stunning bride, 37, said “I do” just a short few weeks before they’re due to welcome their first child together.

The newlyweds got hitched in a discreet ceremony at Chelsea Old Town Hall, West London, surrounded by their closest friends and family.

Model Frida looked radiant in an off-the-shoulder cream dress, with long blonde curls that tumbled down towards her baby bump.

Sky Sports pundit Jamie turned up to the wedding decked out in a dapper navy double-breasted suit and grinned like the cat that got the cream as he held both his bride’s hands.

The Daily Mail columnist was later seen giving a thumbs up as the wedding party left the venue for a private function at Mayfair seafood restaurant Scott’s.

The wedding comes three years after the 48-year-old’s divorce from former Eternal singer Louise.

The celeb couple split in 2017 after nearly two decades of marriage after the pop star’s Strictly appearance.

Louise confessed in her autobiography that she wishes she’d tried harder to make the relationship work.

After the revelation, she advised others thinking of ending their marriage: “Just slow down. Don’t run. Because once you run too fast, you can’t make up the ground you’ve lost.

"Stop, say what you think, don’t be afraid to say what’s really going on.You don’t have to be quiet.”
