Jorgie Porter reveals extravagant wedding plans: There will be five dress changes
She announced her happy engagement news last month, and now Hollyoaks actress Jorgie Porter has revealed some extravagant wedding plans to OK!.
The star, who plays Theresa McQueen in the Channel 4 soap, likened her forthcoming big day to a "show" and revealed there will be a whopping five dress changes.
Opening up about her potential 2022 wedding, the 34 year old told us: "My dream has always been to come down on string on a hoop with wings, like a show.
"But Ollie’s not that way inclined – he’s not into the 'extra' stuff. I think I’d have to tone it down a bit – it’s about him as well.
"I do have some ideas of style in mind – five dress changes at least!"
Jorgie is ready to get into organising mode for her marriage to her businessman fiancé and added: "I was going along with the engagement and now we’re like, 'We’ve got to organise the wedding bit.' In 2022, I think I’ll really grow up."
This is an exciting event for the couple to look forward to and will likely be something positive to focus on after their recent sadness.
Just a month before announcing her engagement joy, Jorgie revealed the heartbreaking news she suffered a miscarriage with quadruplets at 14 weeks.
And when speaking with OK! the actress told us the support she's had since talking publicly about her loss has been "amazing."
"So many people told me their stories as well, which was touching," she explained.
"No one knows what to say when people have been through a miscarriage. I want people to talk about it and ask questions."
But the star is looking to the future and said she "really" wants a family with Ollie.
"All we want is a healthy baby and, when the time comes, we’ll be ready for it," she told us.
"With what we went through, it made us realise we really want a family together."
Speaking about her supportive fiancé, she added: "We’ve been through so much, we know we want to be with each other."
