Kim Kardashian says she wants to be 'truly proud' of herself as she starts relationship with new boyfriend Pete Davidson

KIM Kardashian said she wants to be "truly proud" of herself as she begins a new romance with Pete Davidson after connecting on the set of Saturday Night Live earlier this month.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum shared a post to her Instagram Story that read: "Current Status: Working my a** off to become someone I can truly be proud of."

Her post came after several videos promoting new additions to her SKIMS range.

Meanwhile Kim is enjoying her romance with Pete, 28.

The pair are trying to keep things "private," according to a source who spoke with Page Six.

Despite having been seen out on dates, and even the occasional social media post, the pair are said to be trying to keep their budding romance "low-key."

An insider told the outlet that the duo, who spent time together in Staten Island early on in their romance, want to keep it as "private" as possible.

The source said: "They're still getting to know each other, and want as little pressure as possible.

"They're trying to keep it under wraps. They're dating. There's no formal title.

"They're dating and getting to know each other — still figuring it out."

The source went on to say: "They're having fun, and they make each other laugh. It's really fun."

The outlet claimed there are currently "no plans" for Pete to appear on the Kardashian family's new Hulu series.

Kim is said to be working on something with Pete, however.

According to the outlet, after the success of her SNL hosting gig last month, Kim is said to be working on making a name for herself in comedy with a little help from Pete.

She is reportedly "in talks to launch a comedy tour," with Pete and momager Kris Jenner.

The Sun exclusively reported that the KKW Beauty founder has been working on content for live shows with Pete in the last week.

A source said: "Pete is working on it with her, and Kris Jenner is behind it. They are writing the show now. That's why Pete is in Palm Springs."

The insider went on to say: "Kim is in talks to do a comedy tour. She can sell tickets live to anything, now she just needs an act.

"Let's be honest, Kim-live could sell out Madison Square Garden! Now she just needs an act, and Saturday Night Live has given her all the confidence she needs to pull it off."

The show will be a mix of comedy and personal stories, according to the insider.

Pete has been working with Kim on honing her comedy skills and writing jokes for other things too.

She delivered a comedic speech at friend Simon Huck's wedding rehearsal dinner, which was packed with comedy from start to finish.

Guests raved about the speech, as did fans who saw video footage after the fact.

During her speech, she joked: "When Simon asked me to talk tonight, I was a little bit confused 'cause I uh haven't really figured out this marriage thing myself so I don't know what advice I can give to you guys."

Kim and Pete have reportedly been working on her improv skills since she was on SNL.

A source told Radar of her appearance on the sketch comedy show: "Pete was more supportive than anyone in the cast when Kim hosted.

"He went out of his way to make sure she was comfortable and even took time to privately coach Kim to make sure all her jokes landed."

This week, Kim and Pete confirmed their relationship was more than just professional.

The pair were spotted holding hands out in public.

Photos obtained by Daily Mail showed the duo smiling as they laced their fingers and prepared for a getaway in Palm Springs.

The sighting came after they celebrated Pete's 28th birthday together.
