Liam Gallagher ‘absolutely gutted’ after tragic death of his pet dog
Liam Gallagher's beloved dog Ruby has sadly died.
The 48-year-old singer shared the upsetting news on Tuesday night as he paid tribute to his pooch on social media.
Liam, who was in Oasis with his brother Noel Gallagher, shared a photograph with the sweet dog with his 3.4million followers on Twitter.
The Beady Eye star wrote: "Just lost this little girl tonight absolutely gutted RIP RUBY aka SPARKLE x"
Liam's devoted fans rushed to leave a comment as they showered the star with messages of love and support.
One said: "So sorry for your loss."
While another follower penned: "I'm so sorry about lil Sparkle."

A third added: "Aww! What a beauty. Sending so much love."
"I'm sorry for your loss Liam", typed another.
Liam and his brother have famously been embroiled in a feud with each other for years.
The pair traded verbal blows on many occasions until Oasis split in 2009.
Since the band parting ways, the siblings have hurled more insults slung at one another for many years.
However, musician Liam recently made headlines as he teased an Oasis reunion.
A comeback has been predicted for 2021 after Liam reached out to Noel on social media.
Noel has reportedly turned down £100m for an Oasis reunion in the past.
Liam sent a message to his sibling as he said: "HNY Noel love you long time 2021 is our year c'mon you know LG x."
