Linda Lusardi, who landed her big break as a former Page 3 model, insisted she had no regrets about her past because she was “young and enjoying life”. During her rise to fame as one of the most popular glamour models in the 70s, the 63-year-old said “it was a very different time” compared to today with the countless subscription-based services offering consumers raunchy content from their favourite stars in return for money.

I know that a lot of people are making a lot of money, but it just feels weird to me

With all that she’s experienced in her modelling career, however, Linda would draw the line on joining OnlyFans.

“It’s not something I would entertain. I know that a lot of people are making a lot of money, but it just feels weird to me,” she said.

The mother of two shared her concerns regarding subscribers who wound up getting fixated and practically have all the tools they need to find that person’s location and whereabouts thanks to social media.

The former Hollyoaks star said it would likewise be challenging to step away from the site once it becomes someone’s main source of income.

Even though the content on OnlyFans is only to be viewed by the person paying for the service, the x-rated videos are prone to leaks on social sites such as Twitter and Instagram.

It would make it harder to find a job or begin a new career path when one is plagued by their past, Linda argued.

Despite her remarks on the online adult platform, she doesn’t regret her own decision to work as a glamour model simply because she was young and it was a different time.

Instead of focusing her attention on becoming a model, though, the Wood Green local would have preferred sticking to her passion for acting as it would have prevented her from taking her clothes off, she quipped.

“If I could speak to my 20-year-old self, I’d say, ‘Don’t take your clothes off – become an actress instead’,” Linda continued telling The Sun.

It was just last month when former Hollyoaks star Sarah Jayne Dunn was axed from her role on the soap after opening an OnlyFans account, where she’d posted a string of explicit content before producers caught wind of it.

The 40-year-old reportedly told show bosses that she would not be deleting the app and was “choosing empowerment” over her £120,000 salary playing Mandy Richardson.

Sarah was let go from her role on the Channel 4 programme as an agreement couldn’t be reached.

She addressed the matter in an Instagram post to her 219,000 followers, writing: “I’m simply moving my sexier, racier images to another platform.

“This is a decision I’ve thought long and hard about, not one I’ve taken lightly or on a whim; it’s about taking back control, about empowerment and confidence and having full power over my choices.”

Other celebrities known to use OnlyFans include Blac Chyna, Danniella Westbrook, Danielle Lloyd and Kerry Katona, who claimed she became a millionaire again thanks to her success on the adult site.

“I want to make money, I’m a grafter. I’ve been working since I was 14,” she told TV personality, Ulrika Jonsson, in June.

“Now, with something like OnlyFans, I’m actually making money while I sleep.”

Kerry, who charges £17.99 a month for her subscription service, admitted to having received a lot of backlash for her decision to join.

Still, the ex-Atomic Kitten star insisted on having made a fortune from people who love seeing her flaunt her curves in racy lingerie.

“Why is it okay for Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise to do a sex scene on screen, and that’s called ‘art’, but when I show myself in underwear it’s degrading.
