Love Island fans ‘crying’ as they notice Andrew’s sweet gesture to Tasha

Eagle-eyed Love Island fans have spotted a certain sweet gesture Andrew Le Page appears to make when talking to girlfriend Tasha Ghouri.

Tasha, 23, is the first-ever deaf Love Island contestant. Born completely deaf, Tasha had a cochlear implant fitted at five years old, and had years of speech therapy.

In a Twitter thread, a user pointed out 23-year-old Andrew's thoughtful seating arrangements, theorising he was doing this so that Tasha can hear him better.

"Andrew always sits on the side of Tasha’s implant to make it easier for her to hear," the user wrote.

Unsure whether the idea was a theory built on Reddit, the user added: "If true, it’s probably the sweetest thing anyone’s done this season."

Fans added to the thread with their observations of the couple.

One added: "I think he’s defo being considerate. Her family said she also lip reads quite a bit and I’ve noticed that he faces her while speaking when he’s on her left side."

Others were left "crying" at the revelation, with some crowning them the winners of the show and others believing they've earned themselves a spot in the final.

"They should be in the final four couples, I can’t lie," one wrote.

Tasha and Andrew have had a rollercoaster romance in the villa.

Starting out as OGs and being picked by the public to couple up, they seemed to like the public's decision, until Tasha began doubting their relationship, wanting to explore other options.

When both recoupled at Casa Amor, Tasha with Billy Brown and Andrew with Coco Lodge, it seemed like the pair would never reconcile.

However, after confessing to their feelings for one another despite having their heads turned in Casa Amor, Tasha and Andrew decided to give things another go.

Tasha performed her own sweet gesture which ended with her asking Andrew to be her boyfriend.

Since then the pair have been solid and uncertain fans have finally warmed up to the pair, as they were safe in the public vote for compatibility last night (July 24).
