Love Island viewers were stunned as new boy Remi Lambert was dumped from the villa just days after moving in.
The model had to pack his bags after being left single following a tense recoupling.
Fans were gripped as new girl Danica Taylor got first pick, with the glam bombshell choosing to take Luca Bish off Gemma Owen.
Gemma later chose Davide Sanclimenti, while Ekin-Su Culculoglu coupled up with her new love interest Jay Younger.
Elsewhere, Tasha Ghouri stuck with Andrew LePage and Paige Thorne stayed with Jacques O'Neill, Gemma's former flame from the outside world.
Amber Beckford is still with Dami Hope and Indiyah Polack is coupled up with Ikenna Ekwonna again.
However it looks like things could be set to change in the villa, as a teaser trailer for Sunday's episode suggested Dami's head might be turning – and for Indiyah.
Speaking of her difficult choice, Gemma said: "I think the last few days, he's started to really show his personality more in the villa and his funny side, and I think everyone can agree we love that."
She added: "The guy I was supposed to be coupled up with has been taken."
While Gemma seemed to laugh off the tense situation, Luca looked fuming and sat away from new girl Danica, who looked awkward.
The final decision on who would be dumped came to Indiyah, with just Ikenna and Remi left in the running.
She said of her choice: "He's handsome and he's a gentleman. I feel he's starting to peel back his layers and so am I."
Jay entered the villa at the same time as Remi, and he said he would "miss him".
He said: "I came in the villa with him and it's a memory I'll never forget."
But the hunk didn't have too much to be sad about, as he was now officially in a couple with Ekin-Su, after their secret kiss on the terrace.
Ekin-Su had been coupled up with Davide but it was clear they were over after a blazing row.
When announcing her choice to pick Jay, the actress said: "He made me feel like a little girl during Christmas opening her presents and I haven't felt like this in a long time."
After the recoupling, Luca and Gemma went for a chat and he told her that Danica is "not in the picture", adding: "I want you and that is it, I don't care."
