Love Island star’s mum quits ITV’s Dickinson’s Real Deal to work together
A Dickinson’s Real Deal expert has quit the ITV show to work with her famous Love Island star daughter, Zara Holland.
Cheryl Hakeney is a fan favourite on the hit antiques programme, having first starred on TV screens 14 years ago.
Appearing alongside TV legend David Dickinson, the XX-year-old splashes the cash on the public’s best antique items they’ve found in their home.

But fans hoping to see more of Cheryl wheeling and dealing on the series might be disappointed – as she has quit the show after 14 years.
The ageless beauty revealed she’s called it quits because she’s busy working alongside daughter Zara Holland on their own company.
Zara, a former Miss Great Britain, shot to fame in 2016 thanks to her appearance on the hit ITV2 dating show Love Island.
However, her time was cut short when she left the show after she was unfairly stripped of her Miss Great Britain title for having sex with co-star Alex Bowen.
Both Cheryl and her famous daughter own the fashion business Mimi Boutique, which Cheryl says has only been growing and growing amid the pandemic and their business has doubled.
She told Mail Online : "I did the show for 14 years. I was one of the originals but now mine and Zara's business is booming, unfortunately I don't have enough time to film the next series."
Cheryl began her career as a model before following in her family’s footsteps as an antiques expert.
She then was scouted to become a regular on Dickinson’s Real Deal after attending auctions in her early 20s.
She continued to the publication: “Lots of people tend to think it’s not our real money or we don’t really buy the items but oh boy yes we do.”
Cheryl also compared Dickinson’s Real Deal to shows like The X Factor, saying: “It has become more like The X Factor or Bake Off because the camera now goes to the person and they say, “I really hope Cheryl gives me £100 today” and the camera goes to me privately and I say, “I don’t really want to buy this, it isn’t my thing, I’m only going to give £25” so it became a lot more exciting.”
And as for the show’s famous host, Cheryl had nothing but kind words to say about him, gushing over his “fantastic sense of humour.”
