Meet the power couple who Kate Middleton and Prince William couldn’t live without

Prince William and Kate Middleton have two special people in their life who they rely on for public events in different ways.

Married couple Chris Jackson and Natasha Archer – a royal photographer and stylist respectively – are often at the Cambridges' side and have worked for the couple, as well as other royals, for over a decade.

If you saw the gorgeous black and white backstage pictures at their most recent outing for The Earthshot Awards, the couples' iconic wedding photographs or even group family photos for Prince Charles' 70th birthday, you'll be familiar with the work of Getty Images Royal Photographer Chris Jackson.

And if you've ever lusted over one of Kate Middleton's iconic outfits, you'll also be familiar with Chris' wife, Natasha Archer, who has been Kate's long term stylist.

The couple already share one son, Theo, three, and have a second baby on the way, as Natasha is currently pregnant.

Natasha has been working with the Duchess since 2007 and was originally hired as her PA, before her responsibilities increased. She accompanied Kate, 39, on more than one royal tour and was seen entering the Lindo Wing in London when Kate gave birth to Prince Louis back in 2018.

Meanwhile, Chris is a regular trusted Royal photographer, who's joined the Queen, the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall as well as the Cambridges at many royal events and tours.

He was also tasked with photographing the couple's much anticipated Royal Wedding in 2011.

Speaking of taking the first official photo from Kate and Wills' Wedding Day as they emerged from Westminster Abbey, Chris told Tatler recently: "I was pretty nervous. I was tasked with catching those first moments as they came out onto the steps of Westminster Abbey as a married couple, which I suppose in a way is quite significant as it’s them emerging into the light as a married couple for the first time."

According to the biography of his website, Chris has done everything from, "private shoots with HM The Queen to The Prince of Wales, Duchess of Cornwall and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry to covering some of the world’s biggest news stories. Chris has photographed a diverse range of subjects and events during his 18 years with the agency."

Chris was Royal Photographer of the Year 2016, as well as Royal Photographer of the Year 2015 and 2010, and he won special awards in 2009, 2013, 2014. He was also News Photographer of the Year in 2005.

Chris' most recent work was at The Earthshot Awards this week, where he captured Prince William and Kate Middleton sharing a touching moment together behind the scenes.

The black and white photos show Kate, 39, supporting William, also 39, at the debut ceremony, which has held at Alexandra Palace in London.

Kate can be seen resting her hand affectionately on William's back as the pair walk through the event together.

The intimate moment captured on camera see the husband and wife looking closer than ever as they look into each other's eyes whilst in a room full of the event guests.

A second image sees Kate beaming as she looks proudly at her husband William while the pair make their way through some black curtains.

William has his eyes locked on his beloved wife as they walk together in the shot.

Finally one final image sees the Duke of Cambridge looking up whilst standing alone backstage of the inaugural awards show.

Kate and William also shared the behind-the-scenes snapshots from the event on their official Instagram page.

The couple, who have been married for 10 years, were said to be "all over each other" backstage.
