Michelle Keegan jokes that she ‘looks horrendous’ in stunning video as she bids emotional farewell to Our Girl
Michelle Keegan has said a final goodbye to her Our Girl character Georgie Lane in an emotional message.
The actress, who has appeared on three out of the four series of the BBC army drama, took to her Instagram Stories to say farewell and thank fans for tuning it.
Going make-up free, Michelle looked fresh-faced as she sat on her stairs wearing an orange sports bra and gym leggings to deliver the video message to her followers.
"It's been a horrible day today, so I thought I'd quickly come on and say hi," Michelle spoke into her camera explaining she had put a filter on because "she looked horrendous and I haven't washed my hair in about week".
Writing a caption across the video Michelle said: "Just leaving this here because I'll probably be too emotional later on!"
She continued speaking: "I just wanted to say thank you so much for all your support so far regarding Our Girl, I really appreciate it and it's the final episode tonight."

Adding that it was available on catch-up ahead of the 9pm episode on BBC One, Michelle finished: "Thank you so much for your support this year, honestly it's been amazing and it means a lot to me and thank you I hope you've had a great day so far."
Earlier this year Michelle announced that the fourth series would be her last outing as Corporal Georgie Lane, who in recent episodes had been struggling to deal with the death of her fiancé Elvis Harte, played by Luke Pasqualino.
While she told OK! Magazine that her exit may not be "goodbye forever", she is looking forward to moving on to her next project.
"You can never say it’s going to be forever. But it was really tough. I’ve done four series and it’s just me saying I want to explore other opportunities, that’s it. I’ve loved the show so much. This show has helped me grow into the person I am.
"Out of any other show I’ve done in my life, this is the pinnacle for me. I’ve had such an amazing time. I’m very lucky that they had me on the show. I’m going to miss it and I’m going to miss Georgie. It’s very hard."

Michelle's next appearance on TV screens will be her Sky One drama Brassic, where she returns to play single mum Erin.
The role has already proved gritty for the former Coronation Street star, with her being the victim of a sex attack in season two.
Erin becomes a magician's assistant and a high end escort to a local gangster to make ends meet, when the incident occurs.
Creator and star Joe Gilgun said of the storyline in an interview with the Mirror: "In these scenes we wanted to remind everyone that women have a voice, but men can make them feel unsafe.
"Erin is a very strong woman, she’s a survivor. We wanted to show she’s tough. She’s got [son] Tyler to think of and ultimately, it’s about surviving and coping with what has happened to her.”
