MOLLY-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury's fans are still hoping the pair will get engaged in New York on their winter break.

Love Island stars Molly and Tommy, both 22, have been lapping up the Big Apple while their millions of followers have begged the boxer to propose.

Beneath Molly's latest video on TikTok showing the couple eating and drinking in the US city, one fan wrote: "Is it me or why is she hiding her hand?"

Molly had tucked her hand into her sleeve in the video shared on Saturday night.

By Sunday, other photos posted showed both of her hands and no engagement ring.

Meanwhile, a row broke out in the comments beneath her posts, as fans argued over the pressure on Tommy to pop the question.

Another person wrote: "People in the comments rushing for them to get engaged… y'all are the reason divorce rates are higher"

The surprise break convinced fans Tommy was set to get down on one knee.

The boxer left the fashion director gobsmacked as he whisked her off on the surprise holiday to New York on Thursday.

Aside from the attention they've received, the loved-up couple have been making the most of their trip and wasted no time in seeing the sights as soon as they landed.

Their first stop was Times Square where they enjoyed the famous lights and took some snaps.

Next up was Central Park to check out the ice skating before stopping at a classic American breakfast house for some pancakes and syrup.

They are staying in a luxury hotel, which offers incredible panoramic views of the city – and influencer Molly has promised to vlog the whole trip.

Their followers think Molly might end up coming back with a ring on her finger as they spotted a number of clues.

Firstly the former reality star had a fresh manicure before heading there and secondly her best pal Maura Higgins wished the couple a great trip in an Instagram comment, and fans think it contained a big clue.

She wrote: "Have the best time you guys 🤭♥️♥️♥️."

Many think the hand over mouth emoji means she had some inside information, prompting them to speculate a proposal is imminent.

Speaking previously in a candid chat about a potential engagement, Molly said any proposal would have to be 'special'.

And it doesn't get any more special than New York – a city where dreams are made.

She said: "I feel if you pick the ring and you know your partner has the ring, then you know that a proposal is coming soon.

"So I think he'll just do it by surprise and I won't know anything about it, which will be really special."
