Mum-of-14 could be welcoming yet another baby – but her family aren’t impressed

A couple who are already parents to 14 children could be set to welcome another baby.

In the new series of TLC's Doubling Down, Karen, 40, and 49-year-old Deon discover that baby number 15 may be on the way.

But Deon's mum is less than impressed by the news.

After suffering two miscarriages, the couple welcomed four sets of multiple births back to back after Darrian, 16, and Derrick, 11.

First came twins Dallas and Denver, 10, followed by Deniko, Dariz, Deonee, Daician and Daiten, eight.

Next the the mum delivered twins Diez and Dior, three, sadly their triplet brother Carter passed away a few hours after delivery.

Despite all the Derrico children being given names with "D", Carter was an exception as the parents wanted a special name.

Then in 2019, Karen and Deon welcomed more children, this time triplets Dawsyn, De'Aren and Dyver bringing their brood to 14.

Now a new clip from the series suggests that the couple may be preparing to become parents for a 15th time.

In the snippet, dad Deon can be seen questioning his wife's weird food cravings as she gorges on pickles.

She admits: "The pie smell is making me sick,” leading Deon to question whether she's expecting.

Karen then checks her calendar and realises her period is a week late with Deon asking her to take a test.

While the couple seem delighted with the idea of their family expanding, Deon's mum GG isn't too pleased about it.

Speaking to the couple, from Las Vegas, US, she says: "When is the line drawn, for real?"

Later she adds: "Not another baby. It's overwhelming with the ones that are here."

The couple are yet to officially announce another pregnancy.

It is believed the couple have conceived so many multiples because of Karen's overactive ovaries.

Deon says: "Having four set of multiples back to back is getting struck by lightning, while getting struck by lightning.

"Many parents know with just one child, two children, it's a job. But when you have soon-to-be 14, it's a job."
