Ozzy Osbourne feels an old guy and his life has fallen apart since he turned 70

Ozzy Osbourne is overwhelmed by the feeling his life has collapsed since he turned 70.

The Black Sabbath veteran, who turned 73 on Friday and has Parkinson’s, said he finally feels like an “old guy” after suffering a string of life-threatening illnesses – including a potentially killer bacterial infection in his thumb.

Revealing he is now virtually crippled after back and neck surgery last month, he admitted: “When I was about 69 and a half I thought to myself, one day, I wonder when I will start to feel like an old guy?

“F**k me, when I became 70, I had the f*****g thumb thing.

“It has been one nightmare after another.”

Ozzy was forced to cancel tour dates in 2018 and underwent multiple surgeries after he got a staph infection in his thumb so severe he said it swelled to “the size of a f*****g lightbulb” and could have killed him if it had ripped through the rest of his body.

A year later he was left in agony after a fall and went under the knife for a neck op – before he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s.

He told pal Billy Morrison on Sirius XM: “I still have not got the balance. I may have to have another surgery before the end of the year.

“My legs are f****d. I am stumbling around my house.

“People keep saying, ‘Ozzy give it time’, but how much f*****g time have I got to give it?”

Speaking about the fallout from surgeons correcting issues with rods that had been inserted in his back and neck: “I have physical therapy every morning, three days a week.

“I am trying the best I can, but my stamina has gone.

“I did an hour on the elliptical trainer which nearly killed me – I cannot sit around with a thumb up my a**e anymore.”

Sharing his fear about seeing his doctor about an upcoming raft of medical tests, the former drink and drug addict added: “I’ve got to go and see him in a couple of days, and have some MRIs. I feel like a f*****g experiment.”

Ozzy’s admissions will spark fan fears he won’t live to complete his farewell gig run called No More Tours 2.

He blamed Covid for pushing back dates until May 2023, but said he is struggling to even record new music before the shows.

Dad-of-six Ozzy – who shares three of his kids with second wife Sharon, 69 – added about his battle to finish a new album: “When I am making music I forget how much of me goes into it – emotional wise.

“And this time I am mixing and it is driving me f*****g crazy.

“I hate listening to the mixes because I feel it ain’t right… I have got to like it before I put it out.”
