Ozzy Osbourne ‘wants to renew wedding vows with Sharon after op’
Ozzy Osbourne is apparently hoping to renew his wedding vows with his wife Sharon Osbourne after undergoing major surgery.
The Black Sabbath rocker, 73, had a spinal op this week, which TalkTV star Sharon said could "determine the rest of his life".
He is now recuperating at home and according to the Mirror is hoping to do something special to mark the couple's 40th anniversary this year.
He and Sharon, 69, jetted to Las Vegas back in 2017 to renew their marriage vows.
But this time they may return to the Hawaiian island of Maui, which is where they tied the knot in 1982.
A friend was quoted as saying: "They renewed their vows in Vegas, but he hoped to fly them to Maui for a break to recall their big day.
"He hopes that his recovery will be short and nerve damage will be removed so that he can treat his wife.
"Ozzy may have gone through the mill in recent years, but his spirit and desire to show Sharon how much their love burns bright remains," the friend added.
Earlier this week Sharon told fans that Ozzy was "doing well" after having his surgery.
The TV star, who has three kids with the musician, said on Instagram: "Our family would like to express so much gratitude for the overwhelming amount of love and support leading up to Ozzy 's surgery!
"Ozzy is doing well and on the road to recovery! Your love means the world to him."
The rocker has had his share of health issues in recent years.
Two years ago he told fans that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.
And in 2019 he had to have an operation after hurting his neck and back in a fall, which aggravated an old injury from a 2003 quad bike accident.
