Page 3 girls have responded to mean comments left for them online.

Chloe, Daisy and Jess joined host Pandora Forsyth to talk about the impact trolling can have on people.

And after a Daily Star poll revealed 72.7% Twitter users have left “mean comments” online in the past, they certainly had a lot to talk about.

The shrewd trio, who have become regular on our Hot Topics panel on Facebook Live, have been hit with all manner of rude replies in recent months.

While some critics attack their personalities, others leave sexual remarks when the models are trying to share their opinions.

So instead of sweeping this negativity under the rug, Chloe, Daisy and Jess decided to address the comments face on.

“I would take the one in the upper left corner”

While Chloe was offended by the objectifying comment, Jess admits she's become desensitised to sexual remarks over the years.

Chloe said: “I think that’s discriminating – ‘I would take’.

“I’m a woman, it’s not like you’re taking a sandwich or something.”

Jess replied: “It is what it is.

“The nature of the industry me and the girls work in, that just goes over my head.

“That’s very minor… I’ve had way worse than that for sure.”

And Daisy added: “I think because of what we do, people automatically put you in a category.

“But I can do what I want and say what I want – and it’s so not true.

“You have to take it with a pinch of salt.”

“Pretend journalists again”

Some commenters seemed to be confused about Page 3 girls being able to have opinions – but our models weren't fazed.

Jess said: “I don’t care.

“We’re obviously not journalists, we’re Page 3 models.”

And Daily Star journalist Pandora suggested: “It’s called Page 3 Hot Topics for a reason, perhaps read the title!”

“Four egos yapping away”

The models say being outspoken and confident women can come with many comments like this one.

But they don't necessarily take them as a negative and won't shy away from sharing their opinions.

Jess commented: “I guess it is four egos yapping away.

“I mean everyone’s got an ego and we are talking loads… I guess he’s not wrong but whatever.”

Chloe said: “That’s a weird one. We’re talking, yeah we are, why not?”

And Daisy added: “Don’t watch it then!”

“You’re so me, me, me”

Finally, a comment the girls could agree on…

Chloe laughed: “It’s all about me, it is. You got that one right, babe.”

Jess said: “I suppose we are. We’re here to talk about ourselves.”

And Daisy joked: “Well she’s not wrong!”

While words can be hurtful – the girls aren’t going to let negativity bring them down.

Chloe said: “Take me as you like.

“If you like me, you like me, if you don’t, you don’t.

“I am who I am. I’m not going to change myself – not my looks and certainly not my personality.”

And Daisy agreed: “I do me and you do you. I choose to do this and you chose to do whatever you do.”

Daisy added: “‘I’m not judging you so please don’t judge me.

“‘And if you are going to judge me, keep your opinions to yourself!”

Jess hopes sharing her experiences with negative comments will encourage others to think twice before leaving rude comments online.

She said: “Try and be thoughtful and kind.

“You never know how what you say can affect people. So try and be nice!”
