PIERS Morgan has praised a black cab driver who drove across London to return his lost phone at 2am.
The TalkTV presenter left it in the back of a taxi following a night out with close pal Dame Joan Collins and his wife Celia Walden to celebrate his 58th birthday.
"Many thanks to @Gett_UK for tracking down the taxi containing my phone last night, and to Yasin the driver who brought it back from the other side of London at 2am.
"This is why I always use Black Cabs – they’re the best in the world."
Piers – who turns 58 on Thursday next week – was asked if he was drunk by a follower.
Piers cheekily replied: "I wasn't sober."
