Piers Morgan Uncensored air date and is TalkTV free to watch explained

Former Good Morning Britain presenterPiers Morgan announced that he would be launching a new talk show back in September 2021.

The global TV show featuring the controversial, outspoken host is part of a deal with News Corp – the parent organisation of News UK – and Fox News Media.

TalkTV, on which Uncensored will air, will include other hosts like Adam Boulton and Kate McCann, Anas Sarwar, Bim Afolami, Emily Sheffield, Grace Blakeley, Isabel Oakeshott, James Slack, Miatta Fahnbulleh and Tan Dhesi.

Here's what you need to know about when Piers Morgan Uncensored will air and if new channel TalkTV will be free to watch.

When will Uncensored air?

Piers Morgan Uncensored will begin airing on Monday April 25, 2022 at 8pm.

The hour-long talk show is set to air every weeknight on TalkTV in the UK, on Fox Nation in the US, as well as on Sky News Australia in Australia.

In the first episode Morgan will speak to former US president Donald Trump in an "explosive" interview.

The show will be scheduled between The Sun's former political editor Tom Newton Dunn's new current affairs show and The Talk from TV personality Sharon Osbourne at 9pm.

Will TalkTV be free to watch?

TalkTV is going to be free for viewers right from the launch date on Monday, April 25 at 7pm.

The channel number for it will vary depending on the broadcaster you're signed up with. Channel numbers will be as follows:

  • Sky 526
  • Virgin Media 627
  • Freeview 237
  • Freesat 217

The channel, which will include hourly news bulletins, entertainment and sports shows in addition to current affairs, debate, opinion, and documentaries has been described as "a new voice for viewers who are interested in straight-talking opinions and world-class expert insight on news and current affairs," by News UK EVP, President of Broadcasting, Scott Taunton

The programs will all be live but also available for catch-up on TalkTV's website and apps. Other platforms it will be available on include Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Samsung TV Plus as well as YouTube.

You can also tune in to TalkTV content through social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and Snapchat. In the near future, the channel will be launched on Sky's new streaming TV Sky Glass as well.
