Jacquie Beltrao, 56, has opened up about her latest cancer scan on Twitter this afternoon. The star has exclaimed that she “lives on a tightrope,” while sharing some good news with fans.

Jacquie went on to thanks fans for their support and love.

The message included a short clip from the Sky Sports News presenter as she showed fans the news in the form of written posters.

It was sent out to her 88,500 followers.

Her caption read: “This #breakingnews is the only news I wanted this weekend.

“I live on a tightrope – scan to scan – living life in chunks of 3 months.

“So three out of three NED scans is just THE BEST.

“Thank you everyone on here for your support & positivity – makes a difference.”

Her video showed the host holding up written posters on sheets of paper explaining her health updates.

Jacquie also had a helping hand from her pet dog, featured in the video.

The cards read, as Jacquie announced she had news on her health: “The scans are in and…

“I got NOTHING! Yay me!”

Fans and friends of the star were absolutely delighted to hear about the positive news and rushed to the comments to express just that.

EuroSport presenter Orla Chennaoui wrote: “This is just beautiful Jacquie, truly beautiful. So much love to you.”

Jacquie replied saying that she was truly grateful to have received the positive update.

Fellow Sky Presenter Anna Botting penned: “Oh my golly Jacquie that is soooo amazing!!”

GMB presenter Charlotte Hawkins said: “That is the best news!!!”

Followers of Jacquie were also enthusiastic about her updates.

@S3shv commented: “I don’t know you Jacquie but over the moon for you & your family – it’s wonderful news e.  Not surprised though, you’ve been looking fantastic as late & such an inspiration to women suffering with cancer as you have done. Happy Monday.” (sic)

@DavidHo3177 noted that star’s inspiration and courage, saying: “Your definitely one of the strongest and bravest person!  I’m truly inspired by you!”

Jacqui beat cancer for the first time in 2014.

However, The Sky News presenter said that it came back during lockdown.

Jacqui explained to The Sun in November that she found a small lump near her collarbone during 2020.
