Stacey Solomon' reveals sister Jemma 'stole' her baby name before birth of daughter

STACEY Solomon has revealed that her sister Jemma 'stole' the baby name she wanted to use while pregnant with son Rex in an unearthed interview.

The comment from yesteryear comes after the beloved ITV star welcomed her fourth child, and second with partner Joe Swash, at her home earlier this week – but has yet to reveal her newborn daughter's name.

And now an interview from March 2019 has come to light and suggested potentially why the star has delayed announcing the little one's name.

At the time, the Loose Women panellist admitted she "said the name out loud" first – but her sister Jemma beat her to it.

"We have this sort of name rivalry. I really don’t want my sister to use any of the names," Stacey revealed on Heart Breakfast radio.

"Anyone else can in the world just not her. Cause we can’t have cousins that have the same name.

"One of her children, I won’t mention which one, has got a name that I really wanted. And I said it out loud before. School boy error."

Jemma has three children, Darcy Willow, Mila Luna and Hudson James with husband Lee, 36 – but Stacey didn’t reveal which name she had her eye on at the time.

Stacey also discussed the faux pas during a segment on Loose Women and explained how her sibling unintentionally 'stole' one of her baby names as they debated whether to keep your dream moniker a secret.

The TV star said in April 2019: "Me and my sister were laughing about this the other day. My sister used one of my names as a middle name of her child.

"She didn't know it was one I really wanted but I plan a lot of these things out in my head before they happen and I did have a list of top five that I had before this pregnancy.

"I bear no grudge toward my sister. What. So. Ever," she added.

"But I do get why people don't say the names they want for their children because once somebody has said it in your close circle, you can't use it.

"Some of us might take a bit longer to get pregnant than others Coleen, in which case my sister should have waited! I'm joking I love you Jemma!'

The unearth comments come after the beloved ITV star welcomed her fourth child, and second with partner Joe Swash, at her home earlier this week – but has yet to reveal her newborn daughter's name.

Stacey and Joe, 39, shared their happy news with their followers on Instagram and said:  "She’s Here. Born at Pickle Cottage on mummy’s birthday. Our little girl… Happy birthday my darling daughter…

"We all love you more than you could ever imagine. Your brothers, your daddy and I are so in love.

"Thank you for the most incredible 9 months. Now we cannot wait for the rest of our lives with you…🖤."

Stacey is already mum to Leighton and Zachary from previous relationships and shares Rex with Joe.

They wrote: “Beautiful baby congratulations. Would be fun if she was called Lily…Pickle-Lily..lol.”

David appeared to agree, as he was spotted ‘liking’ the comment.

It comes after Loose Women co-star Nadia Sawalha was forced to deny that she accidentally revealing Stacey baby daughter's name.
