Steve Irwin daughter Bindi’s relationship with Chandler ‘won’t cure family feud’

Bindi Irwin's marriage to Beau Chandler Powell "won't cure family feud" between Irwin clan.

Sex and relationship expert Sarah Jane Banahan has explored the alleged ongoing feud between the Irwin's extended family.

The family have reportedly drifted apart since the tragic death of Steve Irwin back in 2006.

His older sister, Joy told Daily Mail Australia about the family's relationship being torn apart, saying: " "I keep away from all that. It’s just very sad… family stuff."

Sarah Jane Banahan suggested that because the feud has gone on for a while, their marriage might not bring the family back together.

She told Daily Star Online exclusively: "The family feud has gone on for quite some time now and I don’t really think their relationship can cure the family rift."

The expert continued: "They need to focus and move on into their new life together and all parties should support that. Family feuds are extremely tricky… its doubtful after all this time if the family can shed some light after the feud."

Chandler and Bindi announced their engagement last year, and the couple plan to tie the knot at Australia Zoo this year.

Banahan explained: "The family has suffered a lot of pain and on the back of that, the family bond has deteriorated. Having Chandler by her side is actually a godsend.

"It takes a strong person to support a partner who has gone through personal grief. Chandler and Bindi are very young yet they seem to have control of their relationship."

Steve Irwin tragically passed away nearly 14 years ago when a stingray barb pierced his heart.
