They may be in fierce competition in the Strictly Come Dancing studio, but Max George showed it’s all friendly when the cameras stop rolling, as he treated his co-stars to a surprise gift after the first live show.
Radio 1 DJ Clara Amfo revealed Max, 32, had secretly delivered a beautiful bouquet of flowers to each of the female contestant’s dressing rooms to congratulate them on their amazing performance on the BBC show.
Speaking on her radio show as she filled her listeners in on the weekend’s first live show, Clara said she wanted to give a special shout out to former The Wanted singer Max.
She continued that Max had earned some serious brownie points with the ladies following the “lovely” gesture.

The 36 year old, who is dancing alongside professional partner Aljaz Skorjanec, said: “A really lovely thing happened this week. I wanna big up lovely Max George.”
“He was so sweet… he went and got a bouquet of flowers for every single girl in the competition, which I think is just really lovely."
Clara continued: “We all came back to our dressing rooms to find big, beautiful bouquets from Max, which for me gets 10s across the board.”

It was a great night for Max, who not only won praise from his fellow contestants, but also from the all-star judging line-up, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and head judge Shirley Ballas.
After he performed the Tango on Saturday night with partner Dianne Buswell, Max was awarded 17 out of 30 points.
And as he made his way over to the judges’ desks, he received the ultimate praise for his routine, with Shirley describing it as a “fierce tango”.
Usually critical Craig also saw good potential for the competition, as he added: “You're very watchable, I must say.”
This also comes after Max revealed he couldn’t wait to meet his Strictly co-stars – particularly actress and former Men Behaving Badly star Caroline Quentin.
Revealing he had a crush on Caroline growing up, Max said: “I'm absolutely buzzing that Caroline Quentin’s here.
“Me and my brother had a massive crush on her when we were little and used to watch Men Behaving Badly. I was literally just sitting with her talking and she is so cool,” he continued.
