Strictly’s Neil Jones has told pals his doomed relationship with Luisa Eusse was “the worst mistake”
STRICTLY Come Dancing’s Neil Jones told pals his doomed relationship with Luisa Eusse was “the worst mistake” he’d made.
It comes after the Colombian dancer was seen taking a swipe at the BBC favourite during a live-stream video, where she also taunted the police and immigration officials who are trying to track her down.
Neil, 38, and Luisa, 23, started dating last summer but split last month after he was warned to distance himself.
A friend said: “Neil’s friends and those who care for him were pleased when he cooled his relationship with Luisa as she was becoming a nightmare.
“He was mortified by her antics recently and said being linked to her was the worst mistake he’s made. Neil is a decent bloke and is trying to distance himself as much as possible now.
“His focus is dancing and his career on Strictly which means a huge amount to him.
“Neil doesn’t want Luisa’s name being brought up any longer as for him it’s in the past and the way she has behaved was hugely embarrassing.”
In a statement, Neil’s spokeswoman told The Sun: “Neil is happy with his decision and is busy focussing on himself and some exciting work projects. He wishes Luisa all the best.”
Those close to Luisa told The Sun earlier this week how immigration officials could not find an address for her and were asking those in contact with Luisa to speak to them.
And on Monday evening, Luisa filmed herself taunting the police and immigration officials.
“I am waiting for the police. Immigration have my address. But if the police are looking for me why are they not knocking at my door?
“I came to the UK to make my dreams come true. In Columbia you don’t have all these opportunities.
“I don’t need to be with famous people or TV people or DJ people.
Luisa also bragged about breaking lockdown rules – just an hour after Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced tighter restrictions.
When asked by one of the 100 viewers on the Instagram Live why she kept breaking the rules, Luisa said: “You are jealous because you don’t go to parties with me. It’s just that. When we finish this, we are going to a party.
“You think I would dress beautiful like this to stay here just chatting s**t. You are just jealous.
“I’ll let you know when I go to a party on Instagram and you can come with me b***h.
If you’re that bored go to sleep. Is your mummy calling you? Leave then. You little b***h.
“I don’t say sorry for anything. I am not sorry. I am not sorry for going to a party with my friends. I won’t say sorry ever.”
