Tom Parker dead: Celebrities flood social media with tributes as The Wanted star dies at 33
Tributes have flooded in for Tom Parker, who has sadly died at the age of 33.
The Wanted star had been bravely fighting an inoperable brain tumour since he was diagnosed with it in 2020.
Singer Tom recently announced he wouldn't be able to perform on The Wanted's reunion tour but later delighted fans with a surprise appearance on stage with his bandmates.
Tom passed away on Wednesday after battling the terminal illness, and leaves behind his two children, Aurelia, two, and Bodhi, one, and wife Kelsey, 32.
Confirming the news on Instagram, Kelsey shared: "It is with the heaviest of hearts that we confirm Tom passed away peacefully earlier today with all of his family by his side.
"Our hearts are broken. Tom was the centre of our world and we can't imagine life without his infectious smile and energetic presence.
"We are truly thankful for the outpouring of love and support and ask that we all unite to ensure Tom's light continues to shine for his beautiful children."
Following the heartbreaking news, fans and celebrities have rushed to social media to pay tribute to Tom.
Kieran Hayler penned beneath Kelsey's post: "Oh Kelsey this is heartbreaking. @being_kelsey love to you and the family."
Georgia Jones wrote: "Gosh I am so so sorry. Sending so much love to you," followed by a heart emoji.
Rylan Clark shared his sadness too, writing: "I’ve just seen the news about Tom and that’s absolutely gutting. He was such a good’un. So sad to hear. Sending my love to Kelsey and the kids. Awful news x #RipTom x"
James Jordan took to Twitter to write: "Just heard that Tom Parker passed away the same wicked disease that took my father. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Good Morning Britain's Charlotte Hawkins penned: "Oh Kelsey I am so desperately sorry to hear this news. Just heartbreaking for you. He was so full of life, and was so brave in the way he dealt with his illness and talked about it, inspiring so many. Sending a huge hug and so much love to you all."
And Love Island's Faye Winter added a white heart emoji beneath his photo.
Other tributes from fans included one person writing: "I am so so sorry Kelsey. Sending so much love to you and all your family."
Another added: "Devastated for you all. xxxxxxxxx you are in all our thoughts xxxxxxx."
Discussing the heartbreaking news of Tom's brain tumour at the time, Kelsey said to OK!: "It still doesn’t feel real. I don’t think Tom will ever process this information. It’s horrendous. Watching your partner go through this is so hard, because how can I tell him to not let it consume him?
"I take his phone away from him, because otherwise he will sit there and Google things and then end up in a hole. The more you Google, the worse possible stuff it throws at you, and that’s not good for anyone."
Tom added: "I knew something wasn’t right, but I never expected it to be this. You never think this will happen to you."
