Tyson Fury has apologised to Molly-Mae Hague for “dragging” her boyfriend Tommy to America and making him miss out on helping her celebrate an exciting milestone.

Former Love Island star Molly-Mae, 21, passed her driving test this week and showed off her certificate on Instagram.

However, 22-year-old Tommy was unable to help his partner celebrate as he is currently in the States helping his brother Tyson train for a boxing match.

In a message posted on Instagram, Tyson apologised to Molly-Mae for Tommy's absence.

He said: “I'd just like to say a massive congratulations to Molly-Mae on passing her driving test. I know it meant a lot to you, I'm sorry I dragged Tommy over here and kept him away."

"He wanted to send you flowers, congratulations – all the best," he added.

Molly-Mae then re-shared Tyson’s story, commenting: “Hahaha big love.”

Telling fans that she passed her driving test, Molly-Mae said: "This is the happiest day of my life. I literally can't believe it. I can't stop smiling. This has been such a journey for me. I really never thought I'd pass my test.”

Tyson’s pregnant wife Paris was also amongst the many well wishers to publicly congratulate Molly-Mae.

She wrote: “Omg such big respect for this one @MollyMae. A full time business woman and squeezed in a driving test! Well done, babe."

Molly-Mae celebrated her driving test joy with fellow Love Islander, Maura Higgins.

The star shared a cute boomerang of her, Maura and another friend clinking cocktail glasses along with pictures of their delicious looking food.
