Victoria Beckham shows off muscles in gym but fans are distracted by David in background
Despite Victoria Beckham's best efforts to show off her gym workout, fans couldn't help but be distracted by David, who appeared in the background of her pictures.
In one snap shared to 48 year old former Spice Girl's Instagram Stories, she was seen focusing on some tricep dips. However, the former footballer was seen shirtless in the background as he filmed his wife.
Due to Victoria's low angle and how far David was from the mirror, it seemed as though he was in his birthday suit. Even though the mother-of-four had hoped to be front and centre with her exercise regime, she was sure to point out the hilarity of the athlete's appearance in the background by tagging him alongside two crying with laughter emojis.
In the images, Victoria informed her Instagram followers that she was in her exercise regime's "strength training phase" as she posed for a mirror selfie in a state-of-the-art gym.
With one leg stretched up against her torso, Victoria looked fit and healthy as she showed off her toned, tanned physique in a black sports bra and matching leggings.
"I'm in my strength training phase!" Victoria, who recently enjoyed a salsa date night, began in the caption. "Before and after every session, it's key to mobilise and stretch. Recovery is as important as the work itself!"
In the following snap, where David made his cheeky appearance, she took on some tricep dips while explaining: "I follow with my training session, which I vary day to day to focus on different areas of my body. Today I'm working on my upper body strength with a combination of resistance-based exercises."
Victoria noted that fitness wasn't just about exercise but how you fuel your body. She shared a snap of a protein powder, a handful of almonds and bananas, writing: "My post-gym shake! I use @puorilife protein shake after every workout."
She continued: "It helps to aid muscle recovery and growth, and I love that this one is minimally processed with no GMO, pesticides and hormones."
Victoria has been hitting the gym hard with David lately and has always ensured to document it on her Instagram account. However, working out with her other half wasn't always the case.
"It was becoming apparent to her that the benefits from her own training routines had become minimal," Victoria's personal trainer Bobby Rich told Women's Health UK.
With a bit of help from the star trainer, Victoria soon discovered she had a keen interest in weight lifting and began to incorporate that into her routine, alongside plank games and other strength training experiences with David.
