"One of the best things I've done.

"I wish we had footage of the outtakes and laughs."

Swoons of praise massed in the comments section, with one member of the team adding: "It was so fun to be a part of and meet all you lovely people! Hopefully we can all work together again soon."

While a third wrote: "What a fantastic experience."

During filming, the ITV weather girl had also enjoyed treating her own 158,000 Instagram followers to many of the backstage antics.

As he trip came to an end, the TV star also shared a gushy compilation of snaps to round up her time exploring Britain.

Looking like a bombshell, she posed against a large bale of hay wearing a green miniskirt, navy blue t-shirt and chic straw hat.

Lucy summed up her experience, telling fans: "What a summery September it's been so far.

"A reminder of sunny days mid summer when I learnt about (heatwave) honey."
