Woman’s amazing hack banishes crayon stains off wall in seconds using mayonnaise
When it comes to cleaning hacks, there’s no doubt that some of them are rather bizarre.
But bizarre as they may be, some of them work a treat at removing unwanted stains and getting your home looking spick and span in no time.
On this note, one woman has turned to the Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips Facebook page to show off a rather odd way to remove stains from walls – and it actually works.

The hack sees the mum wiping mayonnaise on the walls to remove various crayon stains and scribbles.
She captions it: “Just so everyone that’s a mom knows. Mayonnaise takes crayon off walls.”
And whilst it does pose the question of how she found this out in the first place, it also looks like mayo could well be a successful way to remove unwanted marks.

In the clip, the walls are covered in blue pencil marks, but after she rubs her mayonnaise-filled cloth across it, the marks miraculously disappear.
People were quick to share their surprise and appreciation for the post, with one person writing: “Omg that’s a great tip.”
Another added: “This is genius,” whilst a third added “Oh wow!! That’s amazing!!!”
Someone else was quick to point out that mayonnaise helps with other stains too.
“It will take tea splash out of white painted plastered walls,” one person weighed in.
And another advised: “It also gets rid of heat marks on tables if you leave it on overnight!”
As well as the mayonnaise hack, another trick that has caught attention is the use of air fresheners placed on a radiator to make the home smell better.
The handy tip, which has gone viral on social media, claims all you need to do is purchase a Scentsy Pod and place it on top of your radiator.

She added: “They last over 120 hours each too!!! Loads of different fragrances.”
The pods in question cost £10.80 for a two-pack, available from a site named Scentsy. Fragrances included are Amazon Rain, Jammy Time and Coconut Lemongrass, meaning you can mix up the smell of your home depending on what you’re in the mood for.
