The fan favorite happens to be the daughter of football player Michael Owen, so it\u2019s safe to assume she\u2019s wearing the real deal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Tiffany is known for its luxury goods, particularly its diamond and sterling silver jewelry. George Frederick Kunz (1856\u20131932), a Tiffany&#8217;s gemologist, became instrumental in the international adoption of the metric carat as a weight standard for gems.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>While we loved the eBay preloved fashion, the islanders appeared to wear their own jewelry &#8211; and Gemma definitely made this gold chain her signature look.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The necklace is a vintage Tiffany &amp; Co piece designed by the famous Jean Schlumberger, featuring his signature X design. The necklace features 92 round brilliant-cut diamonds in between 18K gold X\u2019s. Recently sold for <\/span><span>$50K on 1stDibs<\/span><span>, the necklace is worth just as much as prize money Gemma could win on <\/span><i><span>Love Island. <\/span><\/i><span>Clearly, she\u2019s really in this for love!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>According to <\/span><span>Natural Diamonds<\/span><span>, The beautiful necklace is a tough find, but you can still shop for the matching ring, earrings, and bracelet on Tiffany &amp; Co\u2019s website. The office put our money on Gemma\u2019s necklace being a designer accessory, while Love Island fans speculated that it was an exclusive vintage piece by Jean Schlumberger for Tiffany in the 80s. (Rumored to be worth \u00a320,000).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Some even tagged Michael Owen asking for the necklace details. Sadly, no reply just yet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Either way, it appears that Gemma has owned the necklace for some time, first picturing herself wearing it back in December 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The chain is interlocked with larger \u2018x\u2019 throughout, and is a great piece to layer with longer necklaces or to wear alone. Inspired by nature and architecture, Schlumberger designed some of Tiffany &amp; Co\u2019s most famous pieces, including the Ribbon Rosette necklace that held the brand\u2019s famous 128.54-carat yellow diamond, which is now set in the Bird on a Rock brooch.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>In a new video, they said: \u2018We need to talk about Gemma Owen \u2019s gorgeous necklace that she is never seen without. \u2018<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>&#8216;About a week into the series I noticed this necklace and thought that it looks kinda familiar and also it\u2019s kinda expensive. And I was right. The necklace is part of the Tiffany and Co.
