The return of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here is now just weeks away, and speculation is mounting about who could be entering the jungle this year.

One of the many names linked with the ITV show is Masterchef star Grace Dent, despite her previously slamming the programme.

The 50 year old has previously described it as “a puerile venture into starvation, televised constipation and animal cruelty, abbreviated by ads for Iceland £1 curries.”

In 2012, she also admitted that she enjoyed watching the award winning show, as she said: “I snap my blinds firmly shut before settling down to watch I’m a Celeb, in fear the theme tune alone devalues my property.”

Despite all of that, an insider has told The Sun that she is heading down under for a stint in the famous jungle.

They told the publication: “Masterchef fans know Grace for her withering put-downs of contestants’ food and disdain for anything less than stellar cooking.

“But she’ll be eating humble pie in the jungle, surviving on rice and beans and taking part in Bushtucker trials.”

An ITV spokesperson has said: "Any names suggested for I’m A Celebrity are just speculation

OK! have contacted the representatives for Grace for a comment on the claims.

While no names have been confirmed for the new series, there are a number of high profile stars who have reportedly agreed to take on the challenge.

One of those is This Morning star Josie Gibson, 38, as a source has previously toldThe Sun , that she is the “perfect person” for the jungle.

EastEnders legend Danielle Harold is also said to be joining the programme, after leaving the famous soap earlier this year.

Another star linked with I’m A Celeb this year is former ITV star Phillip Schofield, but his former co-star Vanessa Feltz exclusively told OK! that she would be “flabbergasted” if it happened.

She told us: “I don’t know anything about it at all. I would be absolutely flabbergasted if that were true.”

However, Vanessa did say that it is much more likely that former politician Nigel Farage will be on the show when it launches later this month.

The 61 year old said: “Nigel Farage, much more likely, Philip Schofield, I would say put your money on him going nowhere near the place.”

Other names suggested as potential campmates include JLS singer Marvin Humes, former jockey Frankie Dettori, Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson, and First Dates’ Fred Sirieix.
